TOP Marketing To Get 5% Of Vote

social

Gareth Morgan has launched a new political party called TOP (The Opportunities Party) and it’s off to a good start with well over the prerequisite  500 financial members but what will it take for the party to get 5 percent of all party votes to get into Parliament?  We believe TOP will need to fully embrace online marketing including email marketing Clinton Style.

Regular targeted campaigns that inform and entice engagement will keep TOP in the minds of voters whom have opted-in to TOP’s emails.  A pop up on the website asks for your email address so that’s a great starting point.  Plus a request for your mobile number for txt messaging includes that channel in the marketing mix as well.  However be sure to tick the ‘Don’t publish this on the website’ unless you’re happy to have your name visible.

Content marketing and adopting the use of ‘influencers’ should also play a substantial role in driving up interest in the party and it’s policies as they’re released.  Young voters spend up to nine hours a day online and on average we all spend a good hour or two so it makes sense for any start-up to get amongst it.

Publisher sites like BusinessBlogs and news sites including NZHerald are among many sites worldwide in hot demand from content contributors and outreach Ad Agencies.

Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”
